What a fun/clever/hilarious twist ending, Marijke : -) I was thinking perhaps the woman was really a guy in drag, but the guy's mother, that is even funnier :-) The back and forth exchange sounds realistically like two jerks in a bar intent on hitting on women. Nicely done :-) Brooke

Hi Brooke, thanks for that fun review. Most reviewers expected it to be a guy in drag. I almost went there - so am pleased I changed it to his mother. Warmest regards, my friend. Marijke

The dialogue flowed well and is believable. The situation...well, let the guys be warned.

Great job, good luck in the contest.

"I'm sure your mum will think it was funny. She'll consider it a great compliment, actually. Here she is in her new blond wig and sexy dress, and her son tries to crack on to her!"
Brilliant closing. I just hope he didn't try to grope her before he discovered her identity. She'll probably give him a good spanking for that.

Wow...great scenario, how damned embarrasing would that be for all concerned.

Some mate. Sheesh. Guys would think it was funny...but the son and mother probably wouldn't get over it for a very long time.

Ahh well...boys will be boys. And Mother's will be..hmmm?
Lol.
Nice entry for this contest M. Good luck with it.

Oedipus, where are you when I need you. All little boys have fantasy's about their mothers...I guess there is an age where it stops. Cute story. Crack on her...I have never heard that expression before.

I loved this. I found it hilarious. This is just what I had in mind for the prompt. Great give and take dialogue, without action tags. This should make a good showing in the contest.
Best of luck.

I found no errors.

Very interesting and a nice twist. I'm not sure why the first guy took so long to figure out who he was talking to. Maybe he didn't know his friend's mother all that well. Good luck on the contest.
