This was a great and funny read. I could just picture you with no clothes on escaping the bees! It was hilarious and I loved the bittersweet ending with Leonard giving you the diamond ring. A great little tale for the contest.

I figured the twist was Simone found Leonard with another women. Your ending was perfect and I loved it, although, I had plenty of laughs at the mental image you described of the bee situation.

Read this piece, I enjoyed. Not sure bumblebees are attracted by colonge, bright colors and sweets, I always thought though a sweet colonge might work. Both amusing and a happy ending.

Once again, you have come up trumps with your theme for this delightful story which has such a happy surprise ending.
I can't help smiling remembering how I was attacked by a ferocious swarm of Bees - my husband told me to run and he ran after me and then they started stinging him too.
At the end of it, we both looked as if we had been in a fight because as well as all the painful stings, our faces and eyes were badly swollen. I could write quite a story about that and what happened the following day.
