Howdy. Been reading this, and attempting to determine a couple of things.
One, is your battle cry, "For love of live," or "espirit de corps,". Even though you state the latter can be for an individual, the dictionary disagrees with you.
Second, I have also tried to associate the artwork with the verse (a work of yours?) I like it, but unable to tie it to the words.
Just my opinions.

I like the imagery and rhythm in this poem. It is a poem of conquering and never giving up. I especially like the repeating "battle cry" in each verse.

Semper Fi, 60's kid. Spirit of the Corps runs in my veins. By the way that was a good movie, too..."Battle Cry" with Tab Hunter, James Whitmore and Aldo Ray. LOL..I know...Aldo who? No matter what Esprit de corp! Smiles and blessings to you,
this speaks to the depth of our spirit our courage our strength to survive and no matter what don't give up. This one I can read over and over for my own boost of self strength.

What a poweful message portrayed within this piece and I loved it. I could also stand to gain if I could adapt this great attitude. NIcely done, cleverly written, and strong meaning.
