The form is excellent and the words are sweet but not at all overdone. I like it very much.

The international championships for Rugby were contested this past weekend at Petco Park here in San Diego. I went one day and I guarantee there was not a better tackle than the one you chose to kickoff this sweet message.

I enjoyed your strong rhyme and the qualities you chose to describe. Your new friend must be quite honored to both have received and been immortalized in one of your poems. I also was mesmerized by the artwork you used to accompany this Valentine.

Joan, he is a very dear friend. He emailed me the image of his latest painting (as he always does) and I surprised him by using his painting for this poem for him. So HAPPY to hear how much you liked his work. Thank you so much for your review. Sue
