So very true! One of the attributes I fully enjoy about being a member of Fanstory is the pure honesty. Many people say it but don't express their feelings for fear of, I honestly don't know. But it is refreshing to see it in black and white and well written!

words cascading down the
page. They certainly drive
home, my friend, it's all so
true-to-life and so depressing,
particularly for people such as
yourself with a daughter awaiting
the help she's entitled to.

Sue - You hit a nerve with this poem. I can't belive that congress gave out over $350B and most of it did not go to relieve the mortgage mess. I am so angry... calm down ... take a breath ... that's better. Okay. Loved your poem. Charlie

Great Rant - I keep wondering where MY bailout is. It seems that mismanagement pays - big time. I think most of us could argue that we are just as worth as the big corporations. It is all a mess, to be sure. Thanks for shouting out. You are so right - there is never any money for the kids, but there is plenty for billion dollar boondoggles.

Isn't it so like Bush to add a few more blunders to his record before leaving office. Like evil frosting on the proverbial cake of idiocy.
I So feel for you and your child. We can only hope Obama has a huge heart and a brain worthy of his charisma and public confidence(I think he does). Only a few more days. . .
I live in Canada but my elderly mom lives in Missouri and is trying unsuccessfully to sell her home so she can go into a retirement community with asisted living. So far, no luck at all and her health is very poor. Hope the market turns around. So many people are suffering!(everyone but the Big Three executives, and their private jets, eh?)

Well, if we don't watch the direction our HUGE central government is taking, we won't recognize America. I LOVE Thomas Jefferson. He said, "Every generation needs a revolution". I don't think he meant that literally, but he was keenly aware of the power men will usurp if not watched carefully! And it's time for term limits in Congress. (A soft revolution - ha!)
