Great haiku, Sue. The warm weather today seems to have inspired a few of us. Judian wrote a children's poem and I wrote and posted a little love haiku. Check it out if you have time. I think you'll like it.
Thanks for sharing,
Donna
PS -- Too bad it gas to get cold again... LOL

solid 5/7/5 form - great concrete image of the melting icicles, falling from the eaves like daggers - this concrete image is strong and is easy to visualize

Makes me long for the January thaw! Wonderful take on the 5-7-5. Great imagery. On a quiet day, I've been jumped by those falling icicles. Love the pic. Sue

Well written haiku, a but premature for springtime musings...it is only December! (Just teasing).
WEll presented with artwork and color choice creating a mood.
I find no nits.
Warm regards,

The words draw a vivid picture on their own, but I must say the photograph only enhances it.
Pros: Well written. Adheres to the 5/7/5
Cons: Could find none.
Suggestions: None

Love your haiku. Great 5-7-5 form. Nice choice in picture, even tho your words were enough. Really good job.
Happy New Year,
Rachon
