"Bilingual" is a beautifully written poem. Poetry is as much an art as any form of communication for sure and this poem has it all. Very smooth to read with perfect rhythm and rhyming. Well done.

Bravo! I love this story of your journey toward poetry. You have truly arrived - this is beautiful.

"But something deeper was harking
Such feelings welled up within me
This heart and soul also had words?" This speaks truth to my soul.

There is certainly a hidden life within the verse that yearns to speak forth. I find I can express myself in a way through poems that are not comparable to just my words of prose. You have happened on a whole new world, it is true. Great job penning these lines, Don

I have never really thought of it like that, but you are right. Poetry is another language. For some hard to learn, and harder to appreciate, for others easy. Good job.

This was a well written poem on an interesting subject matter.

The rhyming scheme throughout was executed well and very consistant.

I find this poem ambitious and meaningful, a search for excellence and to find hidden words to help find speech lol I think Im going in circles... Im glad your out come is poetry because you write beautifully

Powerful piece that wordsmiths can relate to. You have brought a new dimension -- "My heart and soul also had words". As writers we should attempt to get those words on paper. Art work is awesome also, speaks for all who treasure books.
