So, what? The press has found him? Is he really that much of a hot ticket? Sounds like their picture may end up on social media and everyone, including Daddy, will assume they are a couple and that the baby is his.

Hard times ahead...

Good chapter, Barbara.

This is a beautifully written and a very touching story. I enjoyed very much listening to it. I wish you the very best with your writing. I just have one small typo where you said Tyler opened the door for Rebecca to walk though You need to change the word to Through.

Wow, I think every woman wants someone like Tyler! And I'm glad to see that Rebeka is trusting him more. I smiled at the shopping event because in almost all the K-drama rom-coms, the man buys the heroine new clothes.
I wonder if I am in trouble now as I was borderline with the gestational diabetes but haven't had any trouble since pregnancy...

You're heading in the right direction. Thank you for the kind review. I had gestational diabetes with all 5 of my pregnancies. I was told as I age, I'd have problems, but have had none, so far. The doctor checks for it all the time, but I'm careful what I eat.

Well, they say that as writers we rewrite more than we actually write. Eesh.

When a man buys you eight dresses.....he has it bad. Ha!

I thought there might be some concern from Rebels about the forward east and cheek kissing of Dr, Heather.

Good stuff.
Douglas.

Have you ever heard someone say you are your own worst critic? I thought your doctor's appointment was perfect, although I felt sorry for Rebeka hearing all the grim news. I do hope she and the baby will be alright. I think Ty would make a wonderful father, husband for her, guess I have to wait and see. I look forward to reading more.

A well written chapter. Very, very informative from the doctor's (standpoint on that examination. But I get all that adds drama to the story.

"Going back to Dallas will cause too much stress. You'll stay with me until the baby's born."

"Good," said the doctor.

-I get all of this is for the plot and formula, but it is stretching belief, and again... infantizing your female protagonist.

I enjoyed your chapter ! The characters, especially Tyler and Rebeka, have such a natural chemistry that feels so genuine. I loved how Tyler stepped up to be there for Rebeka. Your dialogue feels so real. It's clear that you've put a lot of care into their relationship and I'm excited to see how it develops. Keep up the great work!

Every time I read these current chapters, I think how fortunate we were, as my wife was in Preeclampsia. Also I love the name "Beka" Back in the days when I tried homeschooling my daughter, there was a Christian home-schooling series, "A Beka Book".
Keep up the wonderful work on your chapters!

Hi Barbara, that was another lovely chapter. Rebeka is really well looked after, but it still amazes me how little she knows about anything. Having lived in such a sheltered environment is not all that healthy. Ulla xcx

You're right. It's not healthy but that's how she's raised. She has a lot to learn. Thank you for the kind review.
