Your poem is beautiful. Such deep emotion. The contrast between dawn and night adds so much to the feeling of ongoing grief. It's haunting in the best way. Your poem leaves an impression with so few words. Absolutely moving!

Thank you, Michael. Sometimes the days are filled with beautiful memories and other days and nights are simply longing for what was. I appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks, Patricia. I know that you too can relate to these words and how some days are bright and sunny and others are simply dark and sad.

That's so sad, Carol. Sometimes, at night in the early hours while I'm lying awake in bed, all my ghosts visit me, with the good and sad memories, mostly sad. That is always the worst time, the early hours, or just before dawn. There is no escape. This is a great contest entry, my friend. Now let me have a chat to Eleanor!!! Lol. Love you lots, Sandra xxx

That's so sad, Carol. Sometimes, at night in the early hours while I'm lying awake in bed, all my ghosts visit me, with the good and sad memories, mostly sad.
