You have painted a wonderful picture here.
I love the personality that you have shown here for the cats.
I love your story and how you have given personality of the animals in connection to their humans.
Very well written

Those cats maybe didn't understand, but if they are back to their duties all is well. As you said, their hearts were in the right place, they just misunderstood. Hopefully everyone, cats and mistresses, are well and everyone can enjoy a wonderful 2025.

I will have to share your poem with my Granddaughter, she is cat crazy, and I know that she will love this. In fact, the black and white kitten looks a lot like one of hers.

This is a cute poem. I'm glad the cats figured out that catching some things is good. Thanks for noting that Helen does not really have the flu. The picture is cute also. Blessings for a great 2025. Carol

Thank you for your kind words, and especially for your prayers. I appreciate them immensely. Mitch is regaining some strength, but has been a little unstable on his feet the past few weeks. No falls, thankfully, but I grabbed his jacket and pulled him upright as he was about to go backwards down the porch steps recently. Prayers for a blessed 2025, and healing.

Debi, this is SO cute! I've been away, packing for the infamous move, but hope to get caught up with everyone soon. We'll be in the new house this time next week, so things will slow down a bit.
I love the way your cats associated 'catching' with illness and tried to figure out how to keep their humans from catching things that might hurt them! Great job on this chapter. And what a great pic!
Well done, my friend.
Blessings and Happy New Year!

Looks like Ulla's cat joined the daring duo for some imaginative antics...
Lucky thing there wasn't a CATastrophy, right?
Fourteen syllable lines are a challenge for mere mortals to pull off, my friend.
This may confirm my theory that you're a superhuman poet.
Purrrrr-fect fun with Pepina, Patch and Ruby...
You have more imagination in your little finger than I have in my whole body!

I miss my cats. This made me smile!

I am sorry that you can't have any and I know how you feel. My landlord won't let me either.
-
Hmmm. But aren't you married to your "landlord" you silly gal?
-
Yeah, but I wouldn't say that to just anyone. LOL
-
LOL!
-
One of these days he will come home from the fish house to something that loves the fish as much as he does. LOL.
-
Does he have a cat allergy or is it an "I don't like felines" thing?
-
Yes, it is more of an idea that cats belong in a barn, LOL.
If I wanted one bad enough I would get it though, so I don't let him always have his way. LOL.

I am pretty sure these cats will be able to anything that comes their way. I'm happy to hear Ulla doesn't have the flu. Cats are so very interesting. I had fun reading. Thank you for sharing.

Glad Helen does not really have the flu!
Sorry, been a while. I have been pursuing different writing avenues.
I can see from this piece that you are still as witty and kind as ever!
Just wanted to say Hi!

Hey you, it is so wonderful to see you again. I didn't know if the world was really flat and you fell off. I am glad to know you are still here. Even tho I dare not talk to smart or you might bring up the fact that I do know where to find you. Something I mean to correct in the new year about reviewing more. After the eye surgeon gives me more screen time I will because I don't plan on writing as much. First will be having a corneal transplant though. Thanks again, my dear dear friend.
Love, Debi
