Well, of course, the narrator should finish the case. But I wasn't sure who got killed in " He died six hours later." The drunk priest? So the birthday killer is still on the loose and how many days now to his birthday?

Aunt Margaret sounds like a lot of the mysterious superheroes I read about as a boy, they dealt our justice, when the orthodox law could Never catch them our, through lack of evidence holding up in a law court, beautifully written Karen, what a great character, blessings Roy
Typo : She (drug) Him. Dragged?

I was surprised at Aunt Margret's sudden death, although her tale was being told in flashbacks. I guess you ARE going to finish her work tor this would be the end. Looking forward to more!

Yes, I'm pretty sure you need to help Aunt Margaret finish her case. I really enjoy reading. Thank you for sharing this with us.
"bedroom eyes" (when I was young, I was told I had 'dancing eyes', hmmm)
smarmy (you taught me a new word. I had to look it up.)
Four were to safety deposit boxes containing Fifty thousand dollars each (fifty)
one to a big warehouse in Plano,Texas where she kept (Plano, Texas)

This is a bit like watching Netflix on TV, the series never quite ends anymore and we then have to wait for the next one. I'm sure the narrator has picked up enough tips to continue in Aunt Margaret's footsteps, aren't you? Take care Debbie

Karen,
Another great chapter in your book. Now her adopted daughter is going to take up where she left off. Brilliant! It gives you more leeway going forward with your book.

Of course, you should. I think it might be a good career move since you seem comfortable with horror. After you finish with Haviland you look among the politicians. I there some criminals among them. LOL
Aunt Margaret is such a sweeet-looking lady . I enjoyed you Aunt Margaret story.

Oh yes, Aunty would be so proud of you. Lol. She certainly had it down to perfection, and now you have all the instructions, it'll b easy to carry on. But, I'm wondering if you do it once, you will have to carry on! Love it. Well done. :)) Sanda xx

Thanks for the read. There are so many bad ones out there. And Margaret was only thirty when she got started. Karen

Kenneth Moore and Snidely Whiplash has a way of telling me your age is very close to mine , since Moore was birthed in 1914 and d.o.a.'d in '52.
My mind is pouring as much refuse as what overflowed our local dams last month.

I was actually thinking of Keith Mitchell. He played Henry the Eighth. I was born in 1955. I love old movies and tv shows. I am working on #5 Karen
