Barbara, you are a romantic lady. I love this chapter as much as the other ones. I'm glad Mark is gone and out of the picture. I think Noah and Sami handled it well. I'm glad Noah asked her father's blessings. It looks like everything is falling into place. Well done.

In spite of certain articles written on how we deal with scores for writing, I am still happy with how I do it. Thanks again for yet another great read. A couple of things to look at. We're nothing a(delete space) like."

Mark's appearance was a surprise .And he suggested that she could rehome Jasper! very presumptuous and pushy ..Noah is diametrically opposite.. Very sweet of him to ask permission from her father..

Thank you for the kind review. I couldn't picture not asking her father permission. He understood how close of a family they are.

The difference Noah and Marc could not be more drastic! Obviously, Marc is abusive and only cares about himself and doesn't even listen to Sami or care that she's allergic to daisies! Goodness, what a creep!
I hope Noah knows he'll be part of a very tight-knit family as news traveled super fast from the father to the mother!

An enjoyable chapter but I was surprised at the first part. Her ex-boyfriend just happened to show up? Where has he been over the last month? Would a customer really help him if she didn't want her whereabouts known? Did he really not know she had a dog? Very presumptuous to expect her to rehome Jasper! And he did not know about her flower allergies? Somehow I think these things need to be clarified to make it more believable. He seems to suddenly come from nowhere.

Marc and Sami had been together for over a year and a half before he broke it off. Thank you for the kind review.

Oh, how exciting!! And what a polite young man to ask Dad first... boy, is she ever gonna be surprised... although, I do fear that Marc's ego is not gonna let go that easily... Know this is really 'into' your book, but the reading is easy and the dialogue great to follow! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck with future chapters! ;)

Another great chapter, Barbara. So Noah's going to take the plunge and ask Sami to marry him, but Mom might have a thing or two to say about it. He's got his work cut out for him I think. Well done.

It seems strange that Marc showed up as Sami was returning to her apartment for the first time in weeks. Her father's concern about his daughter marrying a man in Noah's job is certainly well-earned. Her mother seems to just want them to get married.

Written and edited well. Marc just happens to show up and the right time after how long? I mean no harm, but I would advise against 2D men harassing your female protagonist (for some reason) and not taking no for an answer. This happens often. Not saying you can't do what you want in your stories, just something to think about.

Mateo would have to show up at an inappropriate time. How dare he suggest she re-home Jaster? That would be a deal breaker. Why didn't he know about the dog before this? Noah might have run his proposal by Sami before approaching her father, but he was being admirably old-fashioned. You end the post without letting us in on what Laura has to say, although she is thankful for Noah taking care of Sami. Wonder what Noah has in mind about his future career plans? He seems to have something in mind. Notes: What are you two up to, not too. Alike, not a like. Great work with this novel. I admire the development. judi

Mateo didn't show up, it was Marc her old boyfriend. I am tying up loose ends. Thank you for the kind review.
