Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

This was perfectly delightful. It was not heavy handed. Although, without a cast list I don't know why she would do him a favor that might risk her job. And Matt is a first class manipulator. I have known some of those. Well written. Karen

One can't help liking Miranda, she's got a lot of sass, and like Earl's unwashed hands, just a little dirt under her finger nails. She's my kind of girl, and she'll give the sherif a little curry too, she should have been a mother, beautifully written Gretchen, blessings Roy
Typo : Matt looks at the children the(y) blink(s) once.

I read the last chapter but sorry I was late. No review. This was interesting read. A couple of small misses. Matt looks at the children the(n) blinks once.

Lol. Good story. Very humorous. Sometimes one has to just pull a big bluff. No boy of eight wants to be thought of as a baby, and worse still, have his sister thought to be more mature! Good psychology. Gave me a big smile. Thanks for sharing.

This is absolutely delightful. You could separate it out and possibly sell it as a short story. I love it! Have I ever sent you possible web sites with information for marketing your work? Try these free newsletters: Funds for writers, Author's Publish, Worldwide Freelance, and Linked In (although I don't know about this site but there are lots of people who call themselves writers and a few say they are publishers.)

I think I need to leave my Grandkids with Miranda for an hour! She might sort them out. I enjoyed her solution to these awkward kids who question everything. I take my Grandkids on my run with me sometimes when I am tasked with looking after them. The one time, my Granddaughter who is now 11 dragged her feet, would not cooperate and hid in the park which almost gave me a heart attack! I loved your post Gretchen, love Dolly x x x

Kids seem to specialize in pushing buttons. Lol. I'm glad you got a kick out of this. Thank you so much. Gretchen
