I'm looking forward to that part! I'd like to see Mr Tomlin put away. Those sorts think they can get away with anything. I still think Dougie is up to something. He's not there for his son, that's for sure. Another excellent chapter in this great story, my friend. Well done. :)) Sandra xxx

I think you are right about Dougie being up to no good. He is definitely not the most trustworthy. thank you for the exceptional review and the extra star. Gretchen

Miranda is so cool. I love her retort to Dougie about dressing sexy for the predator teacher. Hopefully, Miranda will come up with a better solution with the principal. She is definitely the real parent in the picture!

Thank you so much for this nice review. Gretchen

I think Miranda might let this renewed relationship between Waylon and Duggie play out for enough time for Waylon to understand his Father and make his own mind up about him, after all he is not a child anymore. The Teacher's behaviour is a bit worrying and I hope Miranda is able to flush out any illegal activity there. Another fine chapter Gretchen, always a pleasure to read, love Dolly x

Why would an ex mother is law listen to her? And, if she wants Dougie gone, hit him up for child support, and ask where he is living so his son can move in. That'll make him run like a scalded cat. Karen

Her former mother-in-law is Waylons principal. Miranda and her don't get along but she's hoping at least she'll be watching Mr. Tomlin for questionable behavior. Thanks for this. Gretchen

This is interesting. With Dougie back, I'm learning a little bit about some things that happened in the past before I got hooked on this story. Miranda does hesitate if she thinks something may be going like with the kid who is Walon's class.

It'll be fun to see the interaction between her MIL and Miranda. They have a very passive aggressive relationship. Thank you forbthis. Gretchen

Aah, Tomlins sounds like a sleaze as well as a bully, a most unpleasant character, and he sounds like he's got something on another boy, a good thing that he's reported, a bully too, there's little students can do against them, except report them, they're catching a few here these days, but they've aged, beautifully written, blessings Gretchen, blessings Roy

Thank you for this Roy. Tomlin does need to be stopped, but will Miranda's mother-in-law listen to her? There is no love lost there. Gretchen

She'll have to I think,

This meeting with Dougie is every bit as testy as imagined. You never disappoint, Gretchen, with the force of your dialogue and your reader is willing Miranda on all the way. As for Mr Tomlin, this is quite a development and I can't imagine Miranda having a passive approach to it. Dougie's colloquialisms are excellent, by the way, and very credible. In short, a great and enjoyable chapter, so easy to pick up on again. Thank you, Gretchen. Debbie

Thank you. I started out being politically correct but I just knew that Dougie would be crass. Hope no one is offended but if they are, oh well. Gretchen

No I love it. Brave and real (and you qualified the terminology which was right to do)

An excellent chapter. A dramatic twist with Tomlin turning out to be a predator! And to find out that Missy was the one who helped Dougie get away! Was that in all the letters she wrote from prison, which M didn't read? Engrossing story. Very well written.

Doubt Missy would give a straight answer. She would probably try to get Miranda to jump through a few hoops for the information. Thank you for this nice review. Gretchen

I really loved your chapter. Your book flows very nicely. I did't see any errors. You can feel Miranda's dislike of Dougie through your words. You did an awesome with this chapter. I think you you have a great book in the works.
