Well that's a different way to tell the story. Great job!
Not sure I'd want to hold Haley's hand. She sounds like the nut to me.
I love that song as Tennessee Ernie Ford sang it.
Best wishes.

Maybe I should have posted that one. Thanks for the rest review!

The plot is building: "While we hurled our remarks at one another, our screen indicted another state had become its victim. New Hampshire. I was through with all this child play." I like your wordplay: "Now the board showed us her eye may be eyeing us. A brief stay in Oklahoma, enough to submerge the state, then to Texas. From Galveston to the Hill country, across the state, Jezebel was skipping towards us." well written

I love that song, I used to sing it with the entertainment group I was with, we had 10 members, we did skits, solos, danced and entertained a mixed bunch, the elderly, the not so elderly and whoever would listen and would like variety, beautifully written, we must always forgive, blessings Roy

Thank you for sharing this story with us. Yes, God is always in charge. We don't always know why things happen, but they do for a reason. Man has turned far away from God. There are a few of us praying Christians left.

God has done so much for me, I could never stop exalting Him now.

Hello Jim.
This is an interesting story. The storm has forced the man and woman into close conditions. The dialogue between them moves along eventually into a spiritual conversation. The fear of the storm seemed to nudge them into a peaceful resolution with an understanding of the power of God through the prayers of theirs and others.

This is quite the tale and especially after going through Milton last night with my family who lived through it in the mandatory evacuation zone. It seems Mervin had the right idea. I know that's what I doing all night. And this morning my prayers were answered. My family and their properties were all safe. Now to get through the one coming next week!

I'm so glad all are well, I and many others were praying. Now, stay well!

I appreciate your dry sense of humor. At first, I was confused about what was happening, but you cleverly developed the plot. Some of your lines are funny, ie," I could never fall in love with anyone named Mervin or Flush toilets as the hurricane visits and see if they can suck it in." Then, your story became spiritual, which was an interesting twist. In a short time, with limited words, you made me see your characters and care about what happened to them. It's a timely story with the hurricane pounding the East Coast. Guess it should be named Jezebel instead of Milton.

Thank you so much. I was one of many in the storm's midst, so I had much inspiration to write it.

That indeed is quite a storm and I enjoyed listening to it. It is very well written and it makes a lot of sense. I'm just glad that there is no such thing as a super hurricane that runs all over the country like that. Patricia.

Who knows what might happen as The Lord's second coming nears? I pray you and I will be spared the brunt of such a storm.
