It seems Miranda has a supporting and loving mother. I'm sure she has been in this story before but it's my first time reading about her. The shop lifters are a funny couple of old ladies. Miranda enjoys them but watches them carefully.

The old ladies are a hoot. Like Thelma and Louise. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Don't you just love those old dears? I don't think I'd have the nerve to go into a male strip joint, LOL. Miranda's mum is really nice, and very wise. I love scrambled eggs but haven't had any for ages. Now, when is Dougie going to show his lying face? I really don't believe he wants his son, he just uses the poor boy. Once he has what he came for, (whatever that could be) he'll be off again. Waylon is clutching at straws, he wants desperately for his father to come and say he loves him. That won't happen either, the only person Dougie loves, is himself. Another excellent chapter, my friend.

I'm only coming on to read yours and Carol's (begin again) I can't pluck up interest in anything else at the moment. Each time I think I'm getting somewhere, I end up in the hospital again. I think it might be because the first anniversary of my younger brother's death is fast approaching.

Anyway, you don't want to hear about that. I am really looking forward to discovering what Dougie is after. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

Somehow, Dougie has latched on to some information that Miranda doesn't know yet. It will be revealed later. I'm sorry you keep getting sick. Stress is a bad thing. I'll say a prayer for you and if it's okay put you on my church prayer list this Sunday. Thank you for this awesome review and the extra star. Feel better and take care of yourself. Gretchen

Thank you. Sometimes I don't get notifications either. Not sure what happens. But thank you for catching up and for this nice review and the extra star. Gretchen

Why waste time on things you can't use or don't really want. Though, I cringe at the thought of either of those ladies with a young guy. Lol. Thank you for this spot on review. Gretchen

Those two old biddies have a bit of cheek, turning up again, but at least this time they knew to pay for their puchases. They kid themselves a bit about the strippers, perhaps. Miranda's mother sounds wonderful, straight-talking and with a heart of gold. And I think Waylon will soon see the reality of what life with his father would be like and will choose to stay with M.

Thanks so much for that. Sometimes breakfast with mom puts everything in perspective. Waylon's smart. He will be able to smell a con if there ever is one. Much appreciated. Gretchen

Miranda sees her mum, and gets a boost, isn't that what mums are for? Mum points out Waylon is still pretty, He surely knows that his father is not worthy of trust. Miranda has a bit of fun with Rita and Brenda, and is on good terms with them, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. Making the problems of life go away is exactly what mom's are for. You nailed it. Thank you for this nice review. Gretchen

Those old ladies are a hoot! I guess it lightens up the mood after the heart to heart with her mom. It's good that Miranda has the support of her mom and of Mitch! Now if she would just believe them so she wouldn't worry about losing Waylon. As for that reporter, it sounds she works for a gossip column?

The reporter might not be after a story about Waylon. Thank you so much for this. Gretchen

Miranda's Mama sure knows how to make Miranda feel better, at least until that reporter starts bothering her. She certainly knows how to be kind to the two old ladies after they prove they aren't stealing anything that day.

Miranda probably feels a kinship to the two old birds. Or she thinks they are entertaining. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen
