Boy, can I attest to that! I live in the country and have to take a broom to clean off my lights and gutters every day. Spider webs everywhere. Can't believe how fast they can weave them. Well done, Kahlani!

It's spring in Australia and of course, out come the spider webs.

I really enjoyed this Nonet which made me pause and ponder how fascinating a spider web truly is. Your description of its adaptability in any clime is striking as well as accurate. Nice job! Rod

Ciao!

A great topic. I love to watch spiders making their nets.

They are so quick in spinning their prey in cocoons made with their thread. A gruesome and slow death indeed.

Velvety labyrinths and divine tapestries are great descriptive words ..

Spider webs are an amazing design (although with a deadly purpose for tiny bugs) I like what you have done with the sizing of the font. Good luck in the contest.

I'm a big fan of nature and I love how you have taken something as simple as a spiders web and shown us the intricate beauty of it. Perhaps the next time I see a spiders web, I won't be so quick to get rid of it or bypass it.. I might spend a moment to admire it because it really is a work of art. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.

I love this, the imagery youve used here to portray the fabulous work of the spider. Webs are amazing works of art and I think are highly under appreciated for their structure and beauty. You've captured that perfectly I'm your poem.
Best Wishes
Nicki

Your nonet follows the required syllable count and has a wonderful centering to it... I would suggest finding a different end word for either clime or shine as the rhyme actually throws off your non-rhyme rhythm here... Love the use of 'velvety labyrinth' as it speaks to both sight and feel! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

An excellent entry for the Nonet Poetry contest. Such vivid descriptions of a spider's web and how they are created. They are one of nature's most perfect designs and so beautiful to view. Good luck in the contest.

This is really, really good Kahlani. You did an excellent job with a difficult form. I've tried these but failed miserably
Good luck with this well done nonet
