Your poem is beautiful with keen expression. Although Haiku typically would not use punctuation, your use of it is clever and not forceful and holds the connection quite well. Good luck in the contest

Oh yes, the colours of autumn are.pretty spectacular aren't they, I think they are particularly wonderful in your New England, where the pilgrim fathers landed, we were there on autumn, beautifully written Pat, blessings Roy

Thank you so much for your very kind review. I appreciate it when you live in the southwest desert of the United States and it is extremely hot all summer. Long autumn is a very special time for us when the temperature is cooled down.
