Sadly, there always seem to be those who take up for mean abusive people, usually husbands or boyfriends. When all they really need is for God to bless them upside the head with a brick. :-) Thanks for sharing.
With so many cry baby whiners already disrupting the site, I don't want to be one of them. But there needs to be a policy change on stars. It's Wednesday and I was out of stars on Monday of the new week. For those who read a hundred or hundreds of posts, it just doesn't hardly seem fair they only get the same number as those who read and review 20.

This is a powerful story. I think it should be published. It may anger some people but things like this happen. I guess the reason he can love Miss Lynn is she is half-sister. I think one of the these two boys may kill their father. Now it is Huck who is the most angry, but I would hate to see either of them go to prison.

Yes, of course you must publish it! Absolutely! This chapter is a frightful one, and I hate to think what is happening to Dewey - or maybe Matthew is getting what he has been asking for, for a long time. Well written.

It is a very difficult story about a monster pretending to be human. He destroys everything he touches. What Miss Lynn's mother suggests and what he has done to that poor little girl are more reasons to condemn him. His sons need to make him disappear and never return. Prison would be too good for him, and he might not be condemned since there is also the racial element. If you can end it the right way, it would be publishable, but it is a very grim story. I don't know if you want your name associated with it as your other stories are very good and have few grim moments.

Prison would be too good for him, and he might not be condemned since there is also the racial element. If you can end it the right way, it would be publishable, but it is a very grim story. I don't know if you want your name associated with it as your other stories are very good and have few grim moments.

This is a brilliant addition, and I know something big is coming. So much happened in rapid succession. My heart nearly popped out of my chest. I loved that Mama whispered that he was out back with Dewey. Whew! I need a drink, and a stiff one. My spidey senses are tingling. High Praise, young lady.
