This is a lovely read, Pam, watching the flowers sway with the breeze as they head up high to sunshine. I like that they took you out of yourself, to another place, as you sat watching the beauty of the garden. Nicely done,
cheers,
valda

What a lovely poem, Pam. I especially like your closing couplet:
A climbing bloom I'll never be,
but, flowers are inside of me.
I'm not sure I share your enthusiasm for being buried up to the knees in the garden, especially in the winter! LOL However, it's lovely sentiment and perspective, and your poem reads beautifully aloud.

Hello Pam,
This is a deceptively simple poem with a large impact that can make
one lose track of space and time. A garden is a likely place where beauty
lives and shows her grace.
I hope you want to be a perennial, rather than a short-lived annual.
Nicely done with excellent rhymes and easy meter.
Best wishes.

I can finally reply to this Robert. I know I sent you my review by private message but here I'm just trying to clear it from my queue.

Reflection, daydreaming, all can be nice. You wrote this very well. I popped in for a breather between unpacking boxes. I am so tired, and will glad when I can finish nesting. Karen

Love your words. I especially love the wild flowers I see on my walks. Your words make the flowers come alive as if they are actual characters. "They yearn and strain to reach the sky" is a perfect line, for it appears that flowers are trying to do that. Excellent poem about nature that takes the reader to another place.

I know how you feel. I would love to be a flower that blooms in the sunshine, reaching towards the deep blue sky. U guess I will just have to be satisfied looking at their beauty. A lovely poem that put a smile on my face.

The idea of flowers being inside of you is a very pleasing image. Your rhyming is flawless and keeps your words flowing to the perfect conclusion. Well done.

Flowers look good and smell nice, but they have no control over their own existence. That doesn't sound like an upgrade from a human life. It's wonderful to see and smell them, though, and there is much joy to be had through that. xo
