This reminds me of one of my friends' poetry he did basically about his being a mental health worker at the Brattleboro Retreat in VT. which is a mental hospital. I guess I don't know what they call it it's from the 1800's originally so who knows what they called it or what we call it now. I just know I worked there for 11 years. And my brother is massively bipolar. I'm sending you healing on all levels of it at least relieves you.

Is one who has been diagnosed as a bipolar disorder person I agree with your poem about the depressive side of the illness. It's a whole lot more fun to have the manic side, but it is also very dangerous. I have not suffered a manic depressive episode now for almost 10 years and I do not have to take medication for it anymore. Patricia.

Living with bipolar is difficult. I know from experience.
For me is depression most of the time although at the moment I'm feeling well (fingers crossed). It seems my doctor has finally found the right antidepressant...

Hey, I am a novice in both reading and producing literature. I do really like this. Keeping the pattern going pretty much to the end quite flawlessly is no mean feat I know, your words explain a rather complex subject clearly and in a way that is easy for me to follow. I seem to remember reading a very interesting quote from Stephen Fry years back about bipolar.
I reckon you and I may find ourselves competing before long so I'm going to candidly hold back with criticism for 2 reasons, the first is I am so very inexperienced in this world I honestly do not hold the authority and the second is I don't want to be giving away my winning secrets;)
Great piece of work, I hope we can speak soon.

This is excellently written. My sister who died several years ago was bipolar, and she would have declared it "right on." You spoke of things she had told me often. After she got used to the idea that this would be her burden to carry years ago, she said, "Everybody's got something wrong with them, and this is just mine." She was such a dear friend, and I miss her.

Pam, I went to the internet to understand the rudiments of the bipolar condition. This is quite a challenging mental issue to cure or control (if indeed it can be cured). I am so glad you shared this mental health problem about both the mania and the depressive side of bipolar with your superbly written aabb rhyming poem. It made me sad to know "There seems to be nowhere to go".
