Thank you so much, Helen. This parrot is actually a hand puppet and it is easy to imagine a child holding it and saying, Polly, Polly, Polly! -- I went to a lot of garage sales back in 2004 just for the purpose of finding animal hand puppets. I collected quite a few. Over ten years ago, when I moved to Tennessee, I donated them all to my church for the kids.
