A good message, and certainly relevant to today's world more than ever. We are told not to be anxious about anything, but to cast our cares upon our Lord and Saviour.

This poem contains valuable life advice. Living with anxiety, this attitude has been hard for me to implement, but I'm working on it. Thanks for the reminder that worry doesn't help, and it can actually do harm.

This is so true Patricia as worry end us up making us anxious and we also lose sleep over it. It is a futile exercise, but it is difficult not to worry sometimes, love Dolly x

If we release our problems to God we don't need to worry. He'll take care of everything. I happen to know, from experience, that it's easier said than done. Lol. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

Thank you so very much for your kind review. I agree with you when we turn our worries over to the Lord. He takes care of them and things begin to look much brighter for us.

This is such a pleasant poem that honestly speaks the truth and you deliver it in such a heartwarming way. I agree, worry is a thief that is based on something out of our control. Gretchen

Great advice, Patricia. Don't worry. Be Happy. Worry doesn't solve anything and often we worry about things that haven't even happened and won't happen. We create our own things to worry about. But right now I worry made this review too long so have a great day!

This was another worthwhile message using a minimum of wordage. This site has been playing tricks on us lately. You might want to edit your post as there is a space between the second and third lines, unless you want it tht way.

This is wise. Worry is pointless. It does rob us of time and energy and doesn't help at all. I like the quote "Worry is like rocking chair. It doesn't get you anywhere." Nicely done.

Comment from Brett Matthew West
While there are some things that need to be worried about, if allowed to do so, worrying can easily control a person.
"put worry aside" can be a difficult thing to accomplish.
Many people do have their "peace and time" robbed by the "evil thief" known as worry.

This poem, Do Not Worry, reminds me of a magnet on my dear mother-in-law's refrigerator door: To worry is to doubt God.
She never worried about the things that are covered by prayer (and what isn't?).
