This 4-2-2-6 suite, Follow the Rain, takes the readers through this sloshy romance that seems to battle the "elements" throughout the "stormy" relationship. It seems that all is better at the end.

This is so lovely and charmingly versed I just keep reading it! Your cyclical love poem takes us through the seasons and the course of a love affair that started with passion, lost its heat during the windblown, icy winter months, only to be revived in the spring again by those sexy April showers:) You can't beat them as a metaphor for rebirth! I particularly like the metaphor at the end, like April rain I fell, this is beautifully written Jessica, this is almost the perfect free verse, for some a lot of the newbies think that prose is free verse, well done, blessings Roy

There seems to be a "falling in love" scene with the April rains. It seems that the passions or "pull of heat" continue even into the winter months. Best wishes in the contest!
