This is good poem, reminding us that we all have talents small or great and we should be using the for the Lord who gave them. I remember singing so many hymns that listed her as the writer. She had great talent and love for God. Good luck in the contest.

This is an interesting entry for the Kiddie Poem competition. It is a nice little bit of history extolling the accomplishments of a prolific writer of hymns and spiritual pieces. It also has a message and lesson: despite difficult challenges, you can be an inspiration to others. Very nicely done.

I've never heard of this lady so thank you for introducing her to me. And how prolific she was despite being blind! I like the way that none of her poems or songs were 'grim'or 'sour.' This is a great way for kiddies to learn about famous people like this who overcome challenges, all packaged well in an attractive post with a recording of one of her songs. Well done and good luck! Debbie

What a beautiful and inspiring poem. I had not heard of her, so thank you for introducing her to us. She would certainly be an inspiration for others who are blind or had the troubles in their life.
a perfect motivational poem.
Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent rhyming poem that commemorates the life of a cherished saint. Although we might look at her life and question why God allowed her to live her life without seeing and hearing but she apparently did not have those questions lingering in her heart and soul. Fanny was, and remains, a strong source of inspiration to those living with special needs and those who have no such encumbrances. Thanks for sharing, good luck in the contest.

This is a good poem praising the character's resolve and perseverance after being dealt several seemingly insurmountable misfortunes. However, her faith and ability to keep a positive attitude, allowed her to have a productive life and legacy.

I love Fanny Crosby's song, "All The Way My Savior Leads Me." I was just listening to it by Chris Tomlin. A beautiful, autobiographical poem of her life and deep faith. We have much in common. Sending along my blessings in Christ.

Excellent entry for the Kiddies motivational poem prompt contest.
I think I know who the poet is. (*<>*)
I like the thought that in God's eyes we are all beatiful and needed.
Fanny Crosby was a prolific song writer that overcame many challenges but didn't act like a victim. Out of all that suffering something beatiful was created.

Thank you. In my hometown I would often pass by Fanny Crosby's gravesites.
