How nostalgic! If I wrote about my childhood people would be horrified. But I'm always happy for others who had a nice childhood.

I get the feeling that a child wrote this. It is so in tune with what children would think and write

This is very descriptive and I like it a lot

"Church festivals and picnic days,
hopscotch, hide 'n' seek, cowboy craze,". I like cowboy craze

Lovely memories here of growing up not a care in the world, I always wondered how we survived from breakfast to dinner outdoors as I don't ever remember being hungry, compared to kids nowadays snacking every 10mins! I really enjoyed it, well done

"only rain could keep us inside" and that was only sometimes! I remember running through the rain as a kid and magical that was!
