Some very evocative pastoral imagery here in-keeping with the country idyll once so prevalent prior to industrialisation. I like the opening and the sun slicing through the summer haze and the personification of the sleepy pond. It's as if in a dream world, waking up gently from its slumber, the "yellow tassels," also a delightful image, whirling as the wind blows. Your excellent sonnet compellingly draws me into this charming portrait of nature at its best. Well done and good luck! Debbie
