This may well be the way to do it. Just give ourselves a mantra and repeat. I like the repetition of this one and the methodical instruction which fits well into your 5-7-5. I must try it next time:) Well done and good luck! Debbie

What a great prescription for Writer's Block and I like how your right-adjusted poem ends with the command to Write! I think that makes sense - even when we think we're blocked we can still write.

It's a good idea and the theory is definitely what it takes, but it doesn't always work out that way. I find myself either writing like crazy or staring at the screen with nothing coming to mind.

Something always comes to mind, you are filtering. I think using a pen is the key that is organic. I have to think to type with a pen I can write and not luck. After editing, I might have nothing much but the key is to write and not let your mind defeat you. Thanks for your review.

Well I think the pen in hand with thoughts going from you head to hand is equivalent of thoughts going from head to fingertips using a laptop.
The key is simply to get down and write whatever comes to mind to bust the wall.

I totally agree with the sentiment expressed in this 5-7-5 poem. Writer's block is real. So we must find a way to deal with it. One of my colleagues used to say the same thing - write, write, write.
