Food for thought. You have grand ideas. Ever thought of writing science fiction? The poetry is good and the picture shines on the feeling of the poem. Karen

Thank you very much, I am trying/learning to write prose, I have a problem with grammar and punctuation, I have written a couple of short flash types, I will get there, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

A very good question. We have little wisdom for what we should be doing, and instead we are developing systems to make us increasingly irrelevant. A thoughtful poem, and an excellent entry for the contest.

This is a beautifully written poem. It has a nice overall presentation. Very lovely photo to compliment your words as well. Good luck in the contest.

-Very nice artwork to go with your poem;
a nice presentation, as well.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-You establish a good premise in the first two lines,
and ask a good question in the last one.
-I think it relates to the saying that if
you change one thing, then many more will change
because of it.
-A good entry; good luck in the contest.

An excellent entry for the 5-7-5 poetry contest. This poem asks a good question and it seems to me that we are destined to find out because on a daily basis man is forsaking the tree of knowledge and trying to write lessons that were learned long ago. Nicely done. Good luck.

Good question. We seem to be forging ahead blindly, with no concern over how close we are to the edge of the cliff. A thought-provoking entry for the contest.

Hi Kahpot, a thought-provoking poem and good 5-7-5 format. Of note:

forsakes the tree of knowledge

(As the song says "In the Year 2525" ... man has nothing to do, some machine is doing it for you. I have wondered, if by using the internet for answer and solutions to problem, will man's brain and thinking capacity decline as well.)

Well done. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. Margaret

You are so right. I have hearing that after the AI takes over, we will be lucky if we are treated like chimpanzees just like how we treated them: putting them in zoos or letting them run wild in the jungle.

Well done and good luck.

Nice picture artwork.
You successfully fulfilled the line and syllable requirements for the poem/contest.
Indeed, indeed, may mankind's journey not forsake the tree of knowledge, for it will not bode well for him in time (extinction of the dominant species?)
