Another splendid chapter, Tony, in which I couldn't help but be a bit amused by the antics in the lift at the hotel. Some very clever writing there, getting Ayesha safely out while Jimmy was up on the rooftop. It still sounds risky though and I'm glad Steve is around to keep an eye on things. As ever, an error-free chapter which moves the story along with pleasing pace and engagement. Well done! Debbie

She did not get around to telling Steve that her dead husband's ring was on the body of someone drowned. It might be important that she do that but at least her husband is dead, even if he died twice. Your story is interesting, and Ayesha is a fun and charming heroine.

I think Ayesha's made another attachment, it's so true that appearances give people a passport to all forms of favour, one's gift will also make a way for people's favour, attractive men will have attractive wives etc, beautifully written Tony. I love this, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. How true. Beauty attracts beauty, but I've often noticed that it is the opposites that tend to stick together longer. Wishing you a happy and blessed Easter. All the best, Tony.

A great chapter Tony. Those smarmy smart mouthed constables eventually got egg on their face. A fast moving chapter and well written with a touch of edge of the seat drama . Loved it,
Cheers

I wonder if Ayesha shouldn't have asked Steve to stay with her. If she really does go back to Thailand the next day, I hope she'll learn about Bruno's faked death so she can put that mystery behind her. But what to do about her mixed feelings for both Steve and Bapit??

Thanks, Helen. You've raised an interesting question here, and I'm not quite sure how she's going to resolve it. Best wishes, as always, Tony.

Ayesha finding the poster with the ring on it is big. I do like her and Steve together. I think they're good together. I'm still concerned about Bapit though. When Ayesha flights tomorrow, what will happen? I have numerous questions. LOL I like this story.

Steve realised he was on a hiding to nothing. (I didn't understand this sentence.)

    Thanks for your review, Barbara.
If you say that someone who is trying to achieve something is on a hiding to nothing, you are emphasizing that they have absolutely no chance of being successful.

Thank you. I guess because I'm American, I hadn't heard that term before

Another great chapter. This was very high paced with the police not believing Steve's story and with Ayesha being hunted down by Jimmy. I lived the scene between the doorman and her. So, important but lighthearted. Great job on this story. Sorry, no sixes left but this deserved one. Gretchen

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

The twists and turns in this story are many, and interesting. I particularly enjoyed this chapter because of the rapid, shrewd inteventions of the hotel doorman - very realistic. kay

I had missed two or three chapters chapters and hence I read the synopsis first .The discovery of Bruno's 'hand' is going to bring more confusion .I wonder what is going through Ayesha's mind now?
Very interesting ..I will go back and read the previous chapters...
