What an amazing Loop poem! The theme, this connection between a horse and a blind child, is very moving and meaningful. The relationship between the child and the horse is all the more beautiful because she is blind - and you have expressed that by showing more than telling, by referring to the other senses. Wonderful. Horses, like dogs, do a wonderful work of sharing themselves with compassion and understanding.

Hello Wendy. Thanks so much for your in-depth review. So pleased you enjoyed it, thanks for the sixer. Would you like some rain? It hasn't stopped since Christmas. Every nite and every morning! Kxx

You've had rain sine Christmas?! We haven't had much at all, but should get some at the end of this week, hopefully.

Dear Kay, I've heard about the wonderful work that's done for the disabled involving horses. And your loop poem with its repetitive echo in each line captures so well the bond created. This is a heartwarming story that is sensitively and evocatively expressed in verse, not only sending out a clear message of unity with nature but also providing a very pleasing read. I particularly like the reference to the smell of leather and the trust generated from this experience. Well done! Take care Debbie

Hello, my friend Debbie. Many thanks for your great review. I love animals and what would we do without them? I watched this child and was amazed that Jingles just stood and loved her. K xx

This is a beautiful loop poem about a child and a horse who bonded under unusual circumstances. I am sure the little girl could picture this gentle horse within her heart. Special animals are like that...they become a loving part of who we are. I enjoyed reading this very much, Kay. :-)

Hello Mrs Lily! Many thanks for your kind review. Yes, animals know more than humans. The whale is more intelligent than a human. I just wish we could do away with shark netting. 1,800 sea animals died in the nets last year. K xx

This is a sweet story. It seem the horse understands he is dealing with someone who is handicapped, and he allows her to do what she needs to. Thanks for sharing.

I thought this was beautiful. Your poem captures the bond between Maria and her horse. You did an excellent job of sharing Maria's unique perspective as a blind child and the deep connection she shares with her beloved companion. The imagery you use, such as Maria walking side by side with Jingles and feeling the ground beneath her feet was perfect. The other details like the smell of leather and the sound of Jingles' bells just brings us closer to what you saw. Great job!

Hello Michael, many thanks for your in-depth review. I watched this child and Jingles standing still for her. It is said if you blow up their nostrils, they will always remember you. K xx
