May all little girls hear these healing words from God and from the loving people in her life. It's hard to explain to a child why evil things are done but the world is fallen and under the evil one's influences.

I thought this was a beautiful poem. I loved the positive message for this little girl. At least that is how I read it. The poem was presented so well. Love the formatting, colors and font choice. But most of all it was well written and very enjoyable to read.

Every child should feel this incredible level and warmth of love, be it inner or outer.
I have been greatly conflicted throughout my life considering my father. He has given nothing yet expected everything. Recently he had hip replacement and I was supposed to ???? Thank God Almighty I had an awesome mother.
I really enjoyed this, my talented friend. What a pleasure to read!

I understand how you feel. I had a bad relationship with my father that tainted all my relationships with men. I'm happy you have a good mother, mine was warm and loving. But she died when I was 10.

First of all the art is perfect for this lovely free verse. And the poem was gorgeous as children are my weakness. They mean the world to me. They don't even have to be related to me. I just fall in love with them.
So all that you were saying in your poem to that child was so touching to me. And when I read that it was a letter to your younger self, I loved it even more. It is so sad, as I can feel the pain that you were going thru. You did live a lot like mine only you lost your mom so much younger, but the sexual abuse for me started from my Uncle when I was seven.
I must join this entry, as I have something already written to myself. Will I find it in one of the clubs? Yours was so lovely!
