Hello Terry,
great job on your dialogue contest entry. I never really thought about it, but I guess you never really do fall out of love, although if that's true, what's all the divorce about in this country. I think I've loved different women for different reasons, though the only one I've ever had a sexual relationship with is my wife, who was also my high school girlfriend. Well done. Good luck in the contest.
Blessings,
Tom

Tom, thank you for reading. I think people who divorce, may never have really been love in the first place. I can't prove it, but just a thought. Terry.

Hi Terry,
I don't know what the answer is to that. I think too many put the cart before the horse. I think an engagement period would help folks to see who they're marrying, but who knows.

Thanks for your wonderful dialogue only entry which shares a lot about your life and the loves of your life. I agree that love never dies and it will continue beyond the grave. I'm convinced that belief in Christ is all that's needed to enter into eternity with Him and we'll have quite a Fanstory reunion then. And you can introduce us to Zoe!
Best wishes in the contest!

A lovely, entertaining piece of dialogue here which ambitiously covers the big subjects of love, life and death. Both questions and answers are clearly expressed and I enjoyed the in-depth approach to love in particular and how it, probably, never dies. Well done, Terry, and good luck! Debbie.

I enjoyed reading your dialog. You held my interest here and I agree with some of your statements. I believe one can be in love with more than one person throughout life. I like your line "love needs roots to make it grow". A very true statement. Excellent writing that is real and touches the reader.

Barbara, as a very good romance writer, I think you do know a lot about love. Thank you for reading. Terry.

I fell in love a dozen times. Each girl I thought was it, I brought home to meet Mom and my sisters and then left to play b-ball at the gym. Afterward, as I drove each girl home, I felt each threatened my goal to remain a bachelor for life until ... I found the players left in the field after my 29th birthday were the dregs left over from the morning coffee pot. So I fell in love once more, and that was 46 years ago.

Teri, this story is wonderful. The dialogue is real. I smiled throughout the whole story and could relate to what you said. Of special note:
"I've never fallen out of love with her--or my wife. The death till we part thing means I have to die. Somewhere, it's in the fine print of life."
(T, there is nothing like love. It does make one's heart beat, and it make's the world go around.)
BTW, don't think about dying. You still have life to live, people to love, and stories to tell. You sound like you were always a grounded young man. You and your wife (Chloe?) got the best of each other.
Well done; well told. Great artwork choice. M

Margaret, thank you for the six stars. Zoe, you were close, she was special. I am delighted you enjoyed the story, and I appreciate the kind words. Terry.

This dialogue only story is humorous and realistic. It makes the reader think about their own personal definition of love, romance, and infatuation. You did an excellent job explaining your idea of love to your friend. Your cartoon picture is as humorous as your dialogue. Best wishes in the contest.

Lorraine, thank you for reading. I was trying to combine a little humor and serious topics. I had the story in mind when I saw the prompt, and l liked the format. Terry.

This is entertaining to read. You've got the dialogue-only style down, my friend. I felt like a fly on the wall so to speak while I was reading the banter between friends on whether we ever fall out of love or not. I feel like it can last forever if you have the right person in your life. David and I love each other. Whether we do until we die doesn't matter to me. Our love is strong and will hold on to the end whenever that may be.
Thanks for letting me share. Your writing encourages the reader to ponder and that is a good thing.

Yup. I remember. It was at the Pour House and I was seated at the table next to yours and your buddy eavesdropping on your conversation. I had my Guinness while you and your friend shared the Jack!
Interesting evening.
Best of luck in the contest!
