Well done commentary on this little boys situation. Tragically caught in a cycle of penury, yet his eyes look to the camera with yearning and guarded hope. I don't know what happened with his life, but his legacy was successful as he reaches out to the hearts of all who see this photo. I feel like you grasp that nicely in your poetry. Julie

What a cube boy with a pair of sad eyes. I like your u sing the word "wonderlust" to describe the eyes. It's very important to write about these underprivileged kids.

Yes, I had an idea of the poem but when I found the picture I was captivated by it. A picture is a thousand words... true for this one. The idea of the child abuse children go through makes me very sad. I think in some countries children are used for labor
