A tale of truth? If so, I rue with you. sorry if the loss was real and the cad got up and left. Would it be more acceptable if he left through death? We are dealing with an impending demise of a father soon, and me, being me, see it as a blessing, as his life has been reduced to outside support to survive.

I must admit this poem is inspired by three or four men, and death is another kind of loss and betrayal. One of the four would be my father, who passed away in 2010. So I send my sympathy to you as well.

Like your reminiscing poem. It appeared sad at times and reminded me of when fall does arrive and the apples fall to the ground. Oh, how the bees liked the nectar from the apple.
