I had that problem. Setting up my new Chromebook was frustrating because I did not have most of my passwords, but I did not lose any of my fanstory stuff. Once you solve the password dilemma, you will see your entire fanstory. Do not lose hope.

Thank you for your compassionate review. When I ask for "I forgot my password" help the password they confirm that is mine as I believed it was, is not accepted. Whaat!

I can't imagine a scenario where Tom couldn't save all of your material, and facilitate you signing in on your new Chrome book with the "change your password" option.
I've been locked out, after I was hacked and received a new laptop and Tom absolutely kept my portfolio safe and got me back up and running!
I don't think "Tom has done all he can do."
Most sites will have a way to give you a temporary code to refugees from a new device...and then allow you to reset your password from the site.
Do you need us to contact Tom for you?
Please let me know!
I'm sure he can see you through this!

Thank for your compassionate review.. The problem is when I proceeded with the I forgot my password, the one they gave me, the one I was using was the wrong one! Sp something is messed up. I don't think Tom can help. I've asked him & he's done all he can, which seems to be nothing. If you know Tom can do more like he did for you, yes please see if yu can effect any action on Tom's part.

You're one site...that's progress! I'd definitely wait for some word from management before "resetting"--God forbid it means wiping out your body of work!

Hi Liz, I know your pain I lost a book because of a computer malfunction, and I have to write it from scratch in two days:( The best you can do is archive everything, and when the oldy dies just use the archive to post back everything.

I am so sorry that this is happened to you. I work on my Apple iPad all the time and I haven't had a problem with it so far I'm hoping that I will never be hacked. I do not have the answers for you. I hope that it gets resolved for you in a way that you don't lose all of your information. Patricia, the one thing that I might suggest that you look at your friends list that you have in cup mega hard copy of it with the pencil and paper, so that when you come back if you have to do that. You can look those people up
