I've always thought him streets ahead of Crosby. His vocal phrasing and breath control, which apparently were inspired by his early work with Tommy Dorsey, a trombone player, are almost impossible to replicate. I am just so glad that in 1990 I paid £100 for a ticket to see him in London. An unforgettable experience; I was in the same room as genius. You have put this together superbly as always. The blending of titles of life is one of your best yet. Well done. And thank you!
(Best album is 'Sinatra at the Sands', with Count Basie and his Orchestra, directed by Quincy Jones. 1965. Look it up. It is magical.)

Well that's a wonderful review because I knew you were the afficionado here and, I don't mind telling, this was a bit of a struggle in the beginning because so many of his song titles are in the first person or all about love which is arguably the worst rhyming word. That's amazing that you saw him in 1990. He would have been really old and, being a perfectionist, really troubled by the change in his voice. Thank you so much for this and your suggestion.
