This was so lovely, Judi. Thank you. I'll be 'talking' to him a lot for quite a while. But I know he's happy now, out of pain, free to do and go where he wants, no more wheelchairs. He's with our parents, and his dear late wife who died 25 years ago. I'm ashamed to say it's me I feel sorry for. I won't see him here any more. But, your poem does sound so like him and I know he'll be close by until we are all together again. Thank you, my dear friend. xxx

Thanks so much for your review and lovely comments. I didn't know Ian had lost his wife. He won't let you forget him. He will be close by and see you through this difficult time. Many of my relatives have passed away, but I still think of them frequently. judi

This is excellent and Ian will be there in spirit and her all the good memories she has of him. I enjoyed reading this poem and I know it will be a blessing to Sandra as well.

Thanks so much for your review and comments. Sandra's had her own personal health to worry about, but she is a determined writer. I know she takes comfort in the support she's getting from FS members. judi

This is lovely Judi. Very comforting for some but when the loss is so close to Christmas you really aren't thinking about anything but the loss. I don't even remember last Christmas after the loss of my two children at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's better this year I hope. We will see. We are still missing two at the table. Nancy:)

Thanks for your review and comments, and special thanks for the six-star review. Yes, Christmas will be especially hard for Sandra and her family this year. A lot of us share that in common, as you mentioned. judi

Oh Judi, this is such a sweet poem. I know it will be meaningful for Sandra, and I know it will be meaningful for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.I certainly touched my heart.

Your writing style was lovely and flowed fro your pen as brilliantly as from your heart.

Hugs,
Rhonda

Yes, absolutely right. She will feel his presence around her every time. She thinks of him or mentioned his name he will turn in smile upon her.
It's truly sad when a loved one goes home. But the sadness is for ourselves. Because we will miss our loved ones so very much. It's going home the other side you will be together again. Custom luck to her and her family. Good luck to you. In this fine entry. I hope you have a great and awesome day!

Thanks so much for your review and lovely comments. I lost my sister to a sudden heart attack several years ago. She was 10 years younger than me. I know what the loss is like. judi
