This is really funny dialogue. I'm sorry for laughing, because I am also sympathetic to older people who have lost track of reality. They often require a lot of patience with everything. I guess it would have been best to ask Caroline what she wanted to do, even though I realize she may not have known. Great story.

Caroline is a bit confused but all her life she has enjoyed giving everyone a hard time. She like everyone to worry about her satisfaction. She's a trip. I'm not young either so I'm trying to make fun of her situation.

Lol. I totally relate yo this storyline. I've recently had both my brother and sister in a care center. My sister is doing ok with it but oh boy.. my brother is another story. He says they are treating him like a baby... I explained it's because they have to help him with basic hygiene, etc. He says it's too much if a hassle to ho to the dining room... or to fill out his choices on the monthly menu.. says he'll just eat whatever they bring... and then complains about how he can't get anything he likes and they're trying to kill him or starve him...
Thank goodness he doesn't have to use a stairs contraption! Lol

Thank you for the excellent review. Older people need something they enjoy doing. Unless they have something, there is too much time to think about things ghey aren't happy about. We have our writing.

The elderly can be difficult to deal with. LOL I am wondering what your cousin decided to do. Could she be carried up the stair or are there too many? Just a small suggestion. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Ulla. I'm glad you found it funny. She isn't as confused as she pretends to be. She been a lot like that all her life. Getting old isn't fun, but she likes the attention.

Thank you Wendy. Sometime the phone calls are about things that crack me up but I try to calm her down. It doesn't always work. I'm old myself but so far I coping with it.
