It would appear that all the cards were stacked against you gal. I don't understand how it benefitted them to be abusing you girls though, unless they were using you as a means to make themselves seem invaluable or for some monetary benefit. Great family you have gal- not! I'm wondering about your two sisters and what they must be feeling. Especially your youngest sister. As you mentioned, you weren't the same person going into the woods as the one coming out of them. Well done.

Well, you see, my stepfather started that, and my grandmother couldn't have that getting outside of the family. That's how it started. My youngest sister was taken from the home at the age of five by her father. There was me and my middle sister, but we'll get there too. Yes, we will thank you again. Your elaboration on this theme is excellently described here. The web of lies and indoctrination must be maintained to keep the status quo alive and well among the relatives. If they don't complete their objective and you and the sisters escape their clutches, then the whole 'house of cards' could collapse. You have to find a way to fight this horrendous situation! Oy. This one is so well-written that I am sitting here awash in tears and goosebumps. This is just too, too much for anyone to have to withstand, let alone a teen. What you went through --what they PUT YOU THROUGH-- is reprehensible to epic proportions. They are such bad people. Consider yourself LUCKY that they've "disowned" you! Who would want to be associated with such flagrantly vile people? You are NOTHING like them, Lea. You are good and decent and HONEST and super duper smart and clever. I was a little confused by this sentence: "For Oma, it would be the worst, but for one lie, one secret all of this chaos, wreckage, blood, danger manipulation and downright criminal activity would not have happened."
Is the one lie you're referring to that your stepfather abused you?
In retrospect, you've got this all figured out now, but how much of it did you really understand at the time?
Gosh I wish your aunt, the only one who seemed to know what was going on, would have done something constructive to get you out of the situation you were in. - Jim

It started with my grandmother's life. And because you lied, it's snowball over generations.
