Yes, yes, yes! You've got me thinking about how the technology of the world drives us ever underground. I want to go where the birds sing and the streams flow ever quietly with no one around me but Mother Nature!
We owe it to ourselves to let go of all this technology!

Your message in your Notes really comes across in your poem: We weren't designed to interact with machines. Machines are lifeless, soulless creations and they are building a lifeless, soulless world around us.
I especially like your imagery in stanzas 1 & 2. You seem more "connected" to all this than I am, but we both have the same solution: communing with Nature.

Thanks for the excellent review and your comments supporting the theme of my poem. Bring back the paper newspapers. The book clubs. Soon we aren't going to have cashiers and bank tellers and clerks in the stores, or waitresses. Or truck drivers. People need to realize the job they save could be their own. And who wants to just spend life clicking buttons on computer screens? estory

An excellent moral, with which few can disagree, and you give perfect voice to your ideas in this clever poem. Although of course I'm writing this on my iPhone 14 Pro.

I am with you on this one, I wish to step out of my surrogate documentaries about nature and just be there, be part of that sunset, be part of the tide and of the bird's song. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Be part of the sunset. I like that one. Thanks for the continued support of my crazy poetry. I am ready to move on from this book to the next one. It took a long time to post because of my dad's illness and subsequent death. estory
