Children are what makes the world go around. Yes, and sometimes cause it to flip flop and fly around out of control. There is nothing like them, yet once they are grown and move on, it's most times a relief. And in my case, then here they came again. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I always enjoy your family stories, Beth, and often relate to things you talk about. This one seemed to have quite a few spags, which threw me off because I felt I should point them out (I would want others to do that for me). I made a few corrections/suggestions, but finally stopped interrupting my reading and let some slide.

I think one more edit would solve this problem, if you are so inclined.

I think it's a wonderful gift to pass down to your family! And, personally, I think thoughts and communication are always a blessing for family members. Am still not sure, however, whether I should have posted my poem about my sister (The Web) without speaking to her first and am feeling more than a bit guilty:( But that's a different matter to your stories about childhood etc.

Wow. It's fun and challenging to have more than one child. I wonder what happened to Carol and the older man. Did you move to New Orleans back then? I visited there once about 31 years ago. It was fun.

Thank you. I lived in New Orleans for seventeen years before we moved to Chattanooga. Carol eventually lost interest in that group, but she is still subject to getting into things like conspiracy theories that make no sense to me.

Thank you for the review and comments. I've been fortunate despite all the kids have put me through that I don't get gray easily. I think it is good idea to write about your life. In the future those of you kin with appreciate it. I wish my family had more things written.

This chapter I thought was well written and easy to follow, probably since it focused mainly on Carol and Evan.

I would have had my sonar up and working overtime if my daughter would've joined a cult-like group in the manner Carol did.
