I can identify with Don. Years ago, I worked at a newspaper and we went to Yankee Stadium. At the game's end, I got separated by a crowd from my group. While they searched for me, I took a subway and trin home and got home before anyone. Anyhow, I love this latest chapter and can't wait to see what your family will be up to next.

Thank you so much.Since the school would be empty for a few days they probably didn't know what they would do with him if they didn't send him home. I was thankful they did. The bus driver wasn't supposed to leave without knowing for sure he had all the kids on his list so he probably got blamed.

One of my son's changed his schedule too and I didn't find out about it until report cards came out. I was not happy, Jeff was my wild child. I guess every family has to have one. LOL I enjoyed reading.

Thank you Barbara, I had a wild child, An accident prone child, A stubborn child, a jealous child, a procrastanator, a naive child, a devious child, more that one with ADD, and many more all wraped up in just four people. LOL
I wasnn't happy with the schedule change.

It's good for kids to get chicken pox when they are young and all the childhood illnesses are out of the way, and when you catch these diseases as an adult they can be very severe. It sounds like you had some wonderful holidays Beth. America is such a vast country and it's easy to be parted from relatives as they venture to different parts. Living in a small country we have no comprehension of its size really.
A suggestion for this line Beth:
Chickenpox didn't seem to bother her that (much).

Thank you Dolly for a great review. America is vast with all sorts of varied countryside and cities. I've never been to England although the majority of my ancestors came from there. I never really thought of it as small but I realize it is. I changed the word. It is better.
