I've enjoyed so far this journey through these journeys through your kid's lives, they are incredibly interesting children, it will be incredibly interesting to see how the handle their adult lives Beth, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy. If I decide to keep writing, I'll eventually get around to their lives today.

Obviously she was way too immature to have a dog, let alone a puppy. Never took it outside or exercised it? What did she do, just leave the puppy locked in her room and ignored it?

"baby sitters for Connie" should be babysitters for Connie.

"prepress work" should be pre-press work.

Dodge Charger, my favorite model.

Thank you, Brett, You are right Carol was too immature to have a dog. He eventually was adopted by someone who lived in the country so hopefully he had a better life. She has two dogs now and she takes excellent care of them.

Once again, five stars really means six except I have no more! Now to catch up with the rest of your vacation! I'm glad this time your children did not seem to be in much peril. Though I spent time in the Northeast and upstate New York, I somehow never made it to Niagra Falls. Glad all of you survived tht trip!

Thank you again Jim for the great review and the thought of the six stars. I'm glad I had one trip to the falls. The Canadian side was much prettier. In my next story you'll see a lot of stress mostly from my husband. I wrote a long time ago and although true it is funny.

Thank you for sharing this addition to your memoirs with us. I really enjoy reading. Our youngest when to 6th grade outside of Atlanta, Georgia, they called it year around school, but it really wasn't. However, it was well into July when it broke for summer. We moved to Maryland, they started school the first part of August. Steven wasn't happy. Switching schools is hard.

Thank you, Barbara. I surprised that a souther school wouldn't break for vacation until July. Every state I've lived in breaks in May and starts back near the end of August.

The kids are growing and they have different talents and skills, which makes each of them unique. For sure, you never had a dull moment in your life. Thank you for sharing and I hope you feel better.

The FAllS I've been to a few times, since we have lived in Syracuse area a few hours away, and I used to travel there for work a few years back. It caught my attention when I first saw the picture. It's enjoyable tracing your trip with the differing personalities of your family. I'm sure others identify with those road trips, often bitter and sweet.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. Traveling with six people, all who aren't afraid to express their displeasure if something is wrong sometimes make the trip less than pleasant.

Wow. Niagra Falls. Been there done that; won't do it again. Typical New York exposure, and what has the state to be proud of? The Mets? Jets? Knicks/ Nets? Even the Yankees stink. The Bills get a pass but only because of last yaer.

Each child had his/her own personality, talents, and quirks. That's what makes children so interesting and entertaining. Too bad you had to cut your Niagara Falls visit short.

Thank you for your comments. We had to leave that part falls so we could get her out of that raincoat.

Another great chapter with plenty of detail about the children as they grow older. I almost feel I know them as your descriptions are so clear and never subjective or partial. You skilfully end on a note of interest to encourage the reader to want to know more. There are a couple of small edits: para starting Christi had been good at spelling....She said she had to wake (her) up to tell her (the) class was over; para starting We tried to take a family vacation.... as I have a whole chapter dealing with the (?) of the problems... Excellent! Look forward to reading more, Beth. Debbie x
