Outside of the fact that I'm drowning in tears, this chapter has a lot of practical advice for anyone going through what Jamison is. And Iris needs someone with Jamison's strength as Gertrude will simply fall apart. Great chapter.

Iris has given Jameson good advice here. He needs to protect his rights as a father since Claire will not talk to him about their situation. She is being unfair. Then she tells him she is dying and he is in shock. He has a deep feeling for Iris. They have a connection that will fulfill both Jameson and Iris's needs. Warm and moving conversation. They are very fortunate to have found each other and I like that they can be very honest together. It's a very well written story which I find quite moving although it's not at all soppy. It's great.

Well, with the new commitment Jameson agreed to it looks like he will be drawn closer to Iris. And she is giving him some good legal advice that he would be wise to heed. His wife is using their son as ammunition.
