After traveling all week for the last two weeks I've stayed behind on reviewing. So, I apology for the late and off topic review. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again Ric. I understand if you miss a few. You need time to regroup and relax.

I very much enjoyed listening to your story of your adventures in New Orleans. I myself have never been to New Orleans but I have heard many stories about about it. I found out a couple new things in this story that I didn't know about you before. Your husband was into flying airplanes, but never got his pilots license. You and I have the same thing in common when it comes to flying airplanes my husband to never got his pilots license, but he did fly a plane for a short time with his brother. I also found out that Don and Christi must be twin. I am a twin and I had a twin brother. Patricia.

Thank you Patricia. I'm glad you told me you were a twin and about you husband and planes. Yes, I lost my first baby due to the DPT injecton but then I had twins. I thrilled with the six stars. Thank you for that.

Lol. Your title is very apt considering the number of visits your family had to the emergency department. I enjoyed your fun story and I am looking forward to more.

Thank you Wendy. Yes, our family kept the emergency room going. Life was hectic but not boring.

There is no such thing as ordinary when you have children.
I did a lot of praying as I watched my children grow. We had very few emergencies and they were never sick. I was a great believer in vitamins and nutritious meals and they were very healthy. Mark had a broken arm once playing dodgeball at school. He cut his foot once wading in the pond on the farm we were renting. You had an interesting life. Well done, Beth. Nancy:)

Thank you Nancy. Prayer is what all of need to do a lot of with children. My son was an accident waiting to happen. I was an only child and knew of children until a had them myself. Thankful all but the first one lived to grow up.

Oh yes, when raising twice as many as you we know what the ER is for sure. They knew us by name. It is a lesson we both know well. Thanks for sharing your life with us. .

Did you have eight children? I had four you kwow. I actually have five but lost the first one. Thanks for the review. I only had three kids in this story. The fourth was born in Louisiana 10 behind the others.

Sorry. No, we had six. 3 boys 3 girls. The girls were the hardest to raise. All went to Christian schooling except 2 boys and one girl. The one who went to public school tuned out better that the others but all Christians. I have lost one son to cancer. He was a graphic artis in Reno NV. He did many of the Cassonia signs you still see today.

Never a dull moment with children. We've had a few ER visits, too. Stewart was forever bumping his head, usually on his forehead. I thought he'd have a permanent goose egg there.

I guess when we have small ones we naturally court some trouble in our lives, but somehow we make it through this malaise we call life and make it to the destiny God had planned for us, with some ructions to keep us "amused" Beautifully written Beth, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. There seems to be more to worry about when they are young. Troubles want ever conpletely end in this world but at least I kind of take them in stride now. They don't ruin my day.

You experienced one incident after another, and I consider you a brave woman to head to the French Quarter alone with a child. If a street performer grabbed my child, I probably would have screamed. I enjoyed reading of your adventures and am glad everything worked out well by the end of the story.

I don't think I'd go near the French Quarters not even with several stong men along. These days we're necessarily safe in the supermarket or on any street. I appreciate your review and comments.

Life's Anything But Boring
You sure hit the nail square for the title. Gratefully, our two caused no such visits. One broken arm to urgent care was it for our first and as for the second not until she married did she need immediate care

Beautifully written again, Beth, and always with some interesting anecdotes to engage the reader. It does seem as if your life needed to settle down and I'm not surprised Evan found it safer to stay at home :)) One small edit - 'chronic' appendicitis. Thanks for sharing this enjoyable read. Debbie
