Love is in the air and Fee's evil is in descent. Grayson Cole has learned his daughter's fate and will hopefully be a good grandfather to Simon. Early in the story you used marinade when you meant marinate.

Beautiful photo, and perfect for the engagement of Hank and Betty Jo. What a sad way for Greyson Cole to learn of his daughter's homicide. Hopefully Kenneth Farnsworth will be cooperative with the investigation and help to put an end to FEE's evil away for good. Another great chapter, well written. Blessings. Carol

Of course, you always do the best proposal scenes. Mine was over the phone. Lol.
But my favorite scene was of Victoria's father getting the telegram and the kind gesture of the concierge bringing up the memories. His father's heart had a sense of the news that would be received. At least, he got some closure despite the awful way his daughter was killed.

This is another well-written chapter in your book. I could almost close my eyes and listen to the story is, it's being red and picture of the scenes that are going on in the story. Especially the quart room saying seem to be very vivid in my mind, as I was listening to it. Patricia.

I always thought Barbara was our resident romance writer on FanStory. But you marry romance with action and police procedural in a unique way. You skirt along, quite nicely, that ribbon between realistic romance and the saccarine variety. I keep waiting for you to fall into the latter, but so far you've found a way to make it wholesome without being sappy. There are a few things I would point out:
I let him marinade in his misery [I like your use of "marinade" here.]
After pie and coffee, Betty stood, and annou, [Announced?]
he slowly opened the telegram and read the contents. [Speaking generally, Sally, I noticed you tend to use "slowly" when it's not needed or when it's better not used. When I find my own unnecessary words keep popping up, despite myself, I use the "find/replace" function in Microsoft Word. In a glance you'll see how many times in a given text that you used "slowly" and if any would be better eliminated. Just a suggestion.]
Just keep on entertaining, Sally!

Thank you so much for the excellent review and comments. I fixed most of these right away, especially the half word: announced, a minute or two after I posted. Refresh your page, Jay! I repair as I go all day. Keep that in mind when reviewing me. I try to catch things early on. Thanks again!
Sending you my best today as always,

Hank has popped the question to Betty Jo, with th engagement ring his mother left him, and the attorney of Fitzgerald Elling is so distraught at defending a man of no conscience he regrets it. He is arrested, but things can go more easily if he turns states evidence, he eagerly concurs, beautifully and satisfyingly written dear Sally, well done, blessings Roy

Another great chapter. I always like how your stuff comes a day later than Ulla's and Barbara Wilkey's. Always great reading. Hopefully getting my act together for more writing soon!

Chapter 30 already?! How many chapters do you normally write for a book, and how many words per chapter? I apologize if I've already asked you this; I'm asking all the book writers that I read here because I'm thinking . . .
Well, good news with Farnsworth turning against Elling, that should help convict him of his crimes. Lots of loose ends being tied up in this chapter, and a new chapter beginning for the lovebirds Betty Jo and Hank.
Sal, how are you feeling? I so hope you're up out of bed and getting around. Wishing you the best, young lady!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and lovely stars. Mostly thank you for calling me, young lady. That means as much as the stars. LOL! I?m still not over my illness and injury, but hopefully soon. A massage today should help.

Hi Sally, I'm listening to one of my favourite songs. A song I have known for so many years.
What a wonderful new chapter, and I can't wait to reading on. It's such a great story. A big hug, Ulla xxx

Your latest story is just full of romances as well as seeing to it that the bad people pay for their crimes. I'm not used to reading the story though the voice of someone other than you. When you use first person I have to remember it isn't the blind lady speaking.
