Not sure I know all the characters you mention here, but the writer seems like a good person who fell on hard times and is trying to make good, a fun post Gretchen, love Dolly x

These characters were from my book Miranda Chronicals. This was the crazy murderers perspective. Thank you for this nice review. Gretchen

Love the dialect. It speaks volumes of the protagonist. "Gross old pervert" a great phrase to epitomises the way she thinks.

The casual but warm tone of the letter was particularly endearing.

This reads so well. I'm all in! Congratulations on a fantastic write!

Thank you. Unfortunately, the writer of that warm endearing letter is crazier than a bed bug. Lol. But she feels justified in everything she's ever done. Thanks for this great review. Gretchen

We all know a few crazies. Luckily we have an outlet in writing and can weave them into our prose. Lol

Well, I'll be damned! You just can't let Miranda slip into the sunset. Part of me is cheering that. I know a lot of readers hated to see Miranda's story end. This could be the perfect intro to Book II. We still don't know what happened to Dougie, and Missy is using him like a pawn. She is a true psychopath ... or possibly a sociopath. You could Amazon Book I while you are writing book two. By the time you publish that, you'll have a built in fan-base ... just waiting for book III.

Miranda is already on Amazon. Oh, and don't you worry your pretty little head, I'm going to write a second part to Miranda. I have four scenes already laid out in my head. Lol. Thanks so much for this stellar rating and for always encouraging and teaching me. Gretchen

Missy certainly has an unusual sense of perspective. Writing to someone every week for a year, when they never write back, should have told her something by now. She is an interesting character.

I found this rather chilling! It's like Missy is stalking her by mail. Some of the things she says could be taken another way, sort of a threat. I hope Miranda is reading these letters even if she doesn't answer them.

It's my vision that in the beginning, Miranda just put return to sender on them but then decided to keep them, unopened and file them away until later. Who knows, Missy might accidently let the cat out of the bag with Dougie's whereabouts. Thank you so much for this nice review. Gretchen

I couldn't believe it! A Miranda story!
I'll just bet she is overjoyed about Missies fondness and attention from prison and a promise to go see her when she gets out. How can she get out? She's in for murder isn't she?
Oh and telling another inmate to look her up for a job. WOW!Can't wait to see Miranda's reaction to the letters. Well done Gretchen. Nancy:)

Thanks, Nancy. I already have scenes in my head for Miranda's next book. I can't let her fade away. She's too good of a character and so fun to write. Thank you so much for this. Gretchen
