Enjoyed your reflections and yes, there are many things about the various seasons of life that make us wonder. Great job with this and only three more poems to go!!

I wondered if you meant "plants" instead of "plans" here:
or missing the dry plans completely.

Yes, under normal circumstances we should run for cover when the sky looks foreboding. Sometimes though we are asked to bear up under the storm or even go out in the rage to help someone. It is called faith, I think.

Wonderful poem of the seasons of life.

Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the book.
Sally :))

Not sure what is going on here Jim, except to say we can over think some things in life, especially emotion issues as often we take things to heart that were not meant to hurt, love Dolly x

Hi Dolly, those pesky emotions can rock our souls...like those who seem to have died from a broken heart after the passing of a loved one, like not wanting life anymore after the death of a mate.

This poem, Seasons of the Mind, Body, Spirit 1, seem to be welcoming the transitional season with its unstable weather problems and overall welcome arrival.

Hi Bill, it is more about how emotions, like the seasons, can rock us to our very core. like those who seem to have died from a broken heart after the passing of a loved one, like not wanting life anymore after the death of a mate.

I reviewed a few of your work, and I must say your posts are very well constructed and convey a lot of deep emotion and feeling. I think your poem here calls for a reflection on oneself and how to think positively or be optimistic in life.
Great job!!

Mario, yes, and you are spot in! It is more about how emotions, like the seasons, can rock us to our very core. like those who seem to have died from a broken heart after the passing of a loved one, like not wanting life anymore after the death of a mate.

I like the message. Another thoughtful story told.
You may want to revisit line eight where I think you meant plains not plans. Maybe not; but often my fingers go where they weren't supposed to and then at others do more than requested.
