Smiles all around, Paul!
What a creative and original poetic offering.
And I love it!
I smiled at the thought of God creating a new filing system for all the prayers He reads and answering prayers with group email!
Made my day, Paul!

Thank you for sharing!

Even God needs help to keep up with these times. Your poem is well written and humorous. Now if God could just gift this old lady some of the computer knowledge. I know, I'll pray and he'll put me in the files. Good luck in the contest! Evi

Thanks, Evi. You and I will be standing in the same line, waiting for that prayer to be answered.

Very well written, Paul. Fine metre and rhymes and a very logical progression of God's need to organize a much expanding data-base.

Group email was a perfect solution to address the "issue".

Much enjoyed. :))

Thanks, Gloria. I hope He has more luck with that high tech stuff than I do.

Quite imaginative. Well done even though some of the rhyming is questionable- lot:bought. But then I remembered your New England heritage (bought, got, cot). (smiley face here)
Good luck in the contest.

I suppose with the advent of the computer age, God had found away of storing all those prayers that have mounted over the centuries, being a collector of all those wondrous, (I'm just wondering what He does wilh all the tears that have accumulated ate the same time, perhaps He has a larger than normal fish tank, beautifully written Paul, an excellent treatise. Beautifully written my friend, excellent imagination, blessings Roy

Hi Paul
This is a witty and smoothly metered poem abut bringing God up to date with the computer age.
I would think he wouldn't need the language help since he created all the languages. But, a data base and spread sheet on the kind of prayers and who is saying them can clear his head for other more important things.
I would think he could start on reforming those with vain and violent prayers.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Good luck in the contest,

Thanks, Joan. You are probably right about the language. I'll bet He has had second thoughts about doing that.

You're welcome, Paul. Maybe he has.

there's amazon delivery in heaven? COOL!!

this was a great fun humourous poem about the power of prayer
intriguing word choices with smooth rhyme and flow

one suggestion i have is maybe try a black or dark grey background to blend in with the cool pic you have and either a red or yellow (or both lol) font? just a few thoughts for you to kick around ;)

thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest
shelley :)
